Duo On Loose After Stealing Truck, Ramming Cruiser In Capital Region: Police

The New York State Police are searching for two men on foot in the region who allegedly stole a truck and rammed a trooper's cruiser.

The accident occurred on the Columbia and Rensselaer county lines near Route 20 and Route 66 in the hamlet of Brainard in the Village of East Nassau.

According to State Police, the two men allegedly stole the truck and then rammed a troop car while a trooper was getting into the vehicle. 

The second suspect, not pictured in the photo above, is described as a white man in dark clothing.

There is no word on whether the trooper was injured.
